Perfectly positioned for those looking for any number of cultural, outdoor or gastronomic pursuits, Blue Door Barns is situated very close to Charleston Farmhouse, Monks House, Sissinghurst Castle, Wakehurst Place, Firle Place and Glynde Place.
Our beautiful retreat also has direct access on to the South Downs Way, a walker's and paraglider's paradise, and is just miles from the coast where sailing and other watersports can be found in abundance. We are a dog friendly place to stay and can recommend some fantastic walks for you and your canine friends.
Blue Door Barns is also lucky enough to have some of the most wonderful Sussex pubs on its doorstep including The Ram of Firle, The Jolly Sportsman of East Chiltington, The Cricketers of Berwick and The Pelham Arms of Lewes.
With our love of great food and entertainment, we want to make your time with us perfect, whether its a weekend getaway, a longer holiday or a special celebration. We even have a treatment room here for some extra pampering whilst you are away from home. Whatever the occasion, we'll make sure you leave feeling thoroughly spoilt.
If you are looking for an exciting way to experience the South Downs, we can organise horse riding for you with a local stables. You don't need to be experienced, beginners can do this too. And if you're coming to stay as a group, there's other activities we can coordinate for you including private dining, floristry, sewing, woodwork, paragliding, pottery and woodwork. All with brilliantly talented local people.
